FAQ’s

What is Integrative Psychiatry?
Integrative Psychiatry combines the best of conventional and holistic modalities to offer patients better mental health care. I evaluate the whole person: body-mind-spirit and provide safe, effective treatments – nutrition, supplements, herbs, homeopathy, flower essences, meditation, breathing techniques, mind-body approaches.

By using these approaches, I am able to minimize and at times eliminate the need for psychiatric medication.

One of the hallmarks of integrative medicine and psychiatry is the commitment to a collaborative approach, in which the patient is central to all decisions.

Do you accept insurance?
I do not accept insurance.  Payment is expected at the time of the visit and can be made with cash, checks,
or credit cards.  I will provide you with an invoice with appropriate codes that you may submit to your insurance.

Will my insurance cover the cost of these tests?
Insurance does pay for many, but not all, of the lab tests.
